Idlib CW False-Flag Covers for Islamist Massacre

Idlib CW Massacre 4-4-2017 {masterlist}
Idlib CW False-Flag Covers for Islamist Massacre

Adam Larson aka Caustic Logic
April 4-6, 2017
adds April 7, 9, 23, July 3, August 8

What the hell is with these people? They've got over 100 people dead in a Russian or Syrian attack with sarin nerve gas in Khan Sheikhoun, Idlib province. At least 43 of those are said to be children. It's the second deadliest alleged CW attack of the whole war. They ask "Where is the world?" As usual, "the world" they refer to is not hovering over the reliable evidence or giving it any real consideration.

But this is reality. These people are real. Their deaths were real, happened a certain way for a certain horrible reason, and someone should pay. Getting it right should merit some care, shouldn't it? So there's an ACLOS page started (so far more on the talk page, check both)

Alleged Sarin Victims: Head-Hacked Kids
Just a little looking and we already have this from one NOT widely-circulated photo. Sophie MacNeill tweeted it and I've never seen it before, when it's so heart-wrenching I probably would have seen it a few times by now if it (publicly) existed before. Taking it as presented, anyway, we have a clear problem, that might explain why so few people have re-published this picture.

Another array of dead children in a dramatic screen grab that IS widely claimed as from this incident yields this: (false lead, sloppy work)

There might be more examples - analysis is ongoing (and as always, ACLOS is accepting new members...)

<add Aug 8>Late addition: more head/face-wounded kids, one of which, along with the girl seen above, were first seen as dead or dying CW victims without the wounds, having White Helmets rescuing them with hoses, while later they're seen dead with the wounds. Important stuff: two smokeing-gun head wounds.<end Aug 8>

Fainting is reported as widespread with the victims, so some would fall and hit their heads. That could explain the fair-haired, blue eyed boy at he bottom of the first image. But what happened to the others? Many victims were apparently gassed (like the other 5+ children in the truck bed of the famous video still used for the second image here). But some batches, maybe sent in by a brigade with technical ineptitude, wound up different.

We've seen this kind of thing before. It's unclear if some Islamists just don't like to really use chemicals, even when that's what they're alleging, or if they just do it wrong and have to finish the victims off with blades. (that seems to be the case with the survivor of the infamous Ghouta sarin massacre rebels finished off with a cut to the throat)

As noted in the ACLOS head wounds section, the suggested pattern in these images: children are killed by sharp blows to the head, while fighting age males (13 and up) have their throats sliced. This is almost standard for Islamist massacres that include women and children. The one likely "Shabih" as they probably called him - the teenage boy with likely neck injury - was put back among the children for this photo by more liberal-minded activists. I don't suspect they bothered showing us the men's section of this portion of the alleged sarin attack. They probably found that too obviously bloody even to share with their infidel dupes out here.

So we have an apparent massacre of children. It happened at the same time as and was merged right into an alleged government chemical attack. Full tally, likely over 100 as they say. (we have a growing VDC tally with names and some details - see here - so far 79 dead, all civilians: 35 men, 17 boys, 19 women, 8 girls and, as media reports claim, a Yousef family hit hard, with some 22 members all killed). In context, it's clear just who wanted a shitload of dead civilians at just that moment. I see no reason why some passing jet should want to help them out by dropping sarin on them.

Confirming the first image:
This photo has the same low (early-morning?) sunlight seen in other images from this attack, and the victims are naked and washed-off, as if contaminated with chemicals. So it seems to be part of this. It's key evidence, and I hope to get more certainty (maybe they'll argue it was just a mix-up).

Quopa on Twitter ventures 2 possible matches to children seen in a video attributed to this incident, and perhaps the most shown. Looking at it, I venture another two tentative matches. Qupoa used numbers from something else that confuse me, so I'll re-start with the kids numbered left-to-right. He (or she?) matched #1 here and #2 tentatively. I add 3 and 4. Matching features circled (forehead injury, yellow things in hair, peculiar front curls of wet hair). #4 is distinctly non-distinct, with hollows under the eyes and that certain degree of gasp.

Between them, chances are these are the same four, and we can be more clear these are in fact alleged CW attack victims, with the violent injuries. Only the most obvious case doesn't seem to appear there (or did we just miss him?)

Verifying Neck Wound
In-Detail Post (added September)

(Added 4/9): Boy 3's matching image raises a question about his neck wound - it's not visible. Well, if it was an all-across slice we'd see it, but maybe it was just the left side (our right), and wouldn't be visible at this tucked angle – maybe that's why they tucked his chin into his shoulder like that. But the blanket beneath him seems to be red with blood there... it's not just shadow – other patches go blue-black (in the blue circles), but this is blue-purple/brown-red-black He's bleeding from somewhere around the neck, clearly on his left side. Presumably the worst of that bleeding happened somewhere else, prior to washing. But it still leaks, and he's been on that blanket for some time. #2, the girl, probably has the same brown spot under her head as the wound is turned away from the cameras.

The Second Image (added 4/9):
I was slow to notice there are at least two stills of this scene, where almost every kid has moved or been moved (see ACLOS posting: higher resolution view is current, earlier view still visible below). So, I suppose they're alive and wiggling, not dead at all. The head wound is quite possibly a wet hair illusion. The higher resolution view clarifies that's the case with the kid marked "?", so maybe with the other. (His head is off-frame in the better view).

Also, some have noted a mark across the neck of the boy marked "?" (washed out in the view here, but it's present), taking it as a sign of strangulation perhaps. But that's  far from clear. It isn't any shade of red or purple, like damaged skin would be. I propose this is a line of mud from when he had a hose dragged across his neck, or something similar and irrelevant.

Added 4-23: Another analysis suggests that might be a head wound after all, and the same boy has an apparent abrasion next to his left eye. And the other boy's neck mark still might be something relevant.

Shrapnel Wounds? (Important Note added 4-23)
It's important to consider, as I didn't clearly, that there was standard bombing alleged in this attack. So gas and tipping over are not the only things to expect, but perhaps some shrapnel wounds or crushed, dusty people. Just about anything is possible in a violent explosion, but it's still quite a coincidence if he wave 2 likely fatal head wounds with no other marks on the younger kids,  and a bleeding neck wound, bruises and nothing else, for the one they'd call an adult.  It could be just that coincidence among arrange victims, or as I still suspect, a sign of Islamist murder.

More Wounded Kids (added 4-23)
Petri Krohn noted two more examples of boys with head/neck wounds and bruising. However, these don't appear as likely execution-related, and not fatal at all, that we see.  These could be actual deaths from an explosion with unseen body wounds, injuries from some blast who were then gassed, or a coiple of things. Just hacked at a bit for effect, to help explain those other kids, who know?

Hostages? Where From?
That's my presumption by now for anything like this. The slaughter clues noted above show why. Paul Antonopoulos at Al-Masdar News Adds this:
It is known that about 250 people from Majdal and Khattab were kidnapped by Al-Qaeda terrorists last week. Local sources have claimed that many of those dead from the chemical weapons were those from Majdal and Khattab.
That seriously wasn't known to me until I read that. Wow.

<add 7/3>https://www.liveleak.com/view?i=92a_1490988323#8qBTEl4wq6wPxqrA.99 March 31:
Syrian Arab Army forces continued their counter-offensive operation in the northern Hama countryside, Friday. The forces managed to launch an offensive against opposition fighters close to the village of Khattab and capture the village. The SAA also captured several more villages in northern Hama countryside including Al-Majdal, Soubein, and Al-Shayr.
A Ruptly video is shown of offensive - soldiers in the town at the end - it seems empty, no one greeting them, but there was no immediate news of mass abduction.

https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/jihadist-rebels-kidnap-civilians-fleeing-village-northern-hama/ April 4 is the first report I've seen, from Al-Masdar News, with no number specified, but a family member explaining “the jihadists then took them all to Khan Sheikhoun.” The same day (later, I guess) Al-Masdar reports it was 250 taken and possibly used for the attack. Another source says it was 120 (couldn't find it at the moment) <end 7/3>
Consider also these 3 entries turned up looking into the mystery of the W77 trucks:

Local IDs are already claimed, or something to that effect (unclear). However, it should be noted something that obvious stands a good chance of being untrue, and even a can serve as a distraction. Quite likely, they killed some other big batch of hostages. Consider these precedents:

* 2013 Ghouta chemical massacre: widespread claims, including supposed victim IDs, that the victims were hostages seized in Latakia a couple of week earlier - seemed almost too obvious, victims have been mostly geo-located to Ghouta - they were different, more local, less famous hostages - efforts to correlate that were wasted (ie, it distracted)

* 2014 Chlorine attacks, Hama-Idlib border region: victims were said to be displaced from other towns in the area, almost musical-chairs in nature. They said none were from Ma'an, where about 80 (Alawi) civilians were abducted about two months before the first gassed IDP report came in - connection not proven either way yet - might be too obvious, but still worth a look. There are images for a few of them.

Here: in just this same Hama-Idlib border region, Claims of IDs from abduction of perhaps hundreds of civilians - possibly too obvious, but they might be behind the last entry, so maybe not. Here there are plenty of images to check. Stakes are high. So, again, might be too obvious. I suggest investigators (in Syria especially, of course) need to stake and take two paths: check against Majdal and Khattab abductees, and consider other clues they're hostages anyway, whoever and from wherever.

Dr. Islam, Kidnapper
At least  one video was taken inside what seems to be a clinic where a Dr. Shajul Islam works. He recently covered a chlorine attack of March 25, claiming to have victims there, and tweeted a video saying that, as one died behind him (he was too busy appealing to the world in his self-famous perfect English), but the tweet's text said they think it was sarin. Maybe just a mix-up, I presumed, but now he is on April 3 reporting sarin and clarifying it is not chlorine. So did he know this was coming? Was the March 30 attack some hybrid where chlroine and sarin were used, and are we now to sarin attacks again?

Dr. Islam, with the possible cover-story for a hostage massacre, is a known kidnapper (or accomplice, etc. - it was a serious legal case). As Pmr9 alerts us at the ACLOS talk page:
He had been arrested on returning to the UK from Syria in 2012, and charged with kidnapping two journalists: John Cantlie, and Jeroen Oerlemans. However the trial collapsed when the two victims failed to appear as prosecution witnesses: Cantlie had been kidnapped again alongside James Foley. It's not clear what happened to Oerlemans. This didn't stop the General Medical Council, which is not bound by the same rules of evidence, from striking him off.
He qualified in London, but was struck off the UK medical register in 2013, presumably over thisissue (cited: http://www.bmj.com/content/352/bmj.i1831). But a key witness didn't show up, so Dr. Islam wasn't convicted, and was allowed to go back to Syria and lodge these explanations for large numbers of dead Syrians, with an emphasis on appealing for outside intervention on video. He's apparently working with the French-based UOSSM, who back the sarin claims and the 100+ death toll, and helped lodge the similar claims from ISIS-held areas of Hama last December, that Russian jets had dropped sarin gas, killing at least 93 civilians (that was little noted, but now the same might be claimed in the turf of the overtly foreign-supported Islamist "opposition"... )

Location Ambiguity
This may be nothing, but ... as Petri Krohn argues at ACLOS, and I agree, about 85%, (we thought) the White Helmets videos showed the Latanmah cave hospital, some ways from Khan Shiekhoun. That might become a story discrepancy - it's a lot closer to Khatab and Majdal. But it's not so strange people would be trucked over there from Khan Sheikhoun if the hospital was decent and not full of chlorine. (Petri now says it must be a different place and I won't argue. It did seem a decent fit if filmed in the late afternoon, but the sun did seem a little too low - it didn't prove anything anyway, and let's skip the pointless graphic I had)

This is just one location involved in this incident. Other victims are shown somewhere in Khan Shekhoun or another city around there (I'm not clear yet...), being trucked in from somewhere, offloaded at a clinic, etc. Where they were allegedly exposed is unclear to me so far.

Petri Krohn has some serious points about the lack of such specifics or any evidence for a rescue operation, here. Further, he's found a location match he's certain of, right by Khan Sheikhoun (here on Google Maps). I'm presuming he's right. (I've been really busy lately and can't do as much as I'd like. Thank goodness everyone else is on the case.)

  1. THERE WAS NO GAS ATTACK ON KHAN SHEIKHOUN!

If dead children are paraded in front of cameras, it does not show a chemical weapons attack. It is proof of murder, someone massacred these children and their families.

To claim a gas attack, you have to show photos and videos of the attack site; dead families in or outside their homes. Dead animals. Rescue workers breaking into houses and discovering the bodies.

No one ever asked or answered the essential questions: When and where did the attack happen? How was the chemical delivered? What neighborhoods were affected? Where was the wind blowing from? How were the victims taken to the place where they were first filmed? Who did the rescue work? Where where the White Helmets and their camera crews when this happened?

The White Helmets did not exist in 2013. Today they are an Oscar-winning film crew, with GoPro action cams attached to their signature helmets. They film each and every real and fake rescue operation they take part in. So why no video of the Khan Sheikhoun rescue and recovery work?

This is just another staged hoax, like the Ghouta chemical massacre of August 2013. Hostages were kept in cellars and then gassed with chlorine when the time came to make propaganda videos and call for a No-Fly Zone.

  2. WHY HOULA FAILED?

Chemical weapons are the best tools for miracle massacres for these two reasons:

    1) They can happen anywhere at any time. The place does not need to be near the front line and no Alawite killers need to be present.
    2) From the wounds it is difficult tell a attack victim from a massacre victim; someone killed by sarin in a cellar looks just like someone killed by sarin in a gas attack.

Houla failed because the sabre wounds on the sculls of the murdered children looked very different from the wounds that would have resulted from shrapnel and shelling.

Also, it was difficult to explain the arrival of the Shabiha killers at the massacre site that had just been taken over by the rebels. Sarin and chlorine solve all these problems.

    1. To quibble, the shelling reports quickly yielded to okay a blades massacre, but by Shabiha. And officially, the myth still hasn't failed, because they still don't acknowledge the full rebel takeover. It was failing, with a low D- grade for veracity, but got unfairly promoted to a C- massacre before it was frozen and sealed that way. Otherwise, it scores a solid F, and it's the fucking Houla Hassacre.

The gassed kids with no particular symptoms are the perfect cartoon dead kid prop. No gore. They can even be shown on Facebook. Lots of them at once is something these jackals drool over showing us. They've been missing that for a while.

  3. I live in lebanon,i know what the syrian regime is capable of.. they commited attrocities here for 3 decades,a chemical attack like this is very probable.during the syrian lebanese war in 1990 i saw phosphorus bombs explode with my bare eyes.

I saw the videos and pics on syrian and lebanese media, there were kids and adults with no wounds unconcious and dead.i saw ppl gasping for air.

Im sure more info will come out in the coming days and investigators will prove.

    1. Anon, yawn. A lot of fools live in Lebanon. How do I know you're not one of them? You're off to a bad start. You believe Assad does this kind of stuff, you've seen more credible claims you've believed, so you believe this one too.

I picked the head-hacked kids for a reason. You should answer this simple question: did Assad's sarin cause the wounds seen on these kids? OK, these 2 questions: What do you think did cause that?

(adding note: the kids are washed off, suggesting they want us to believe they believe the kids were contaminated and needed washed off - that and the low sunlight and lack of pior appearance all suggesst this is a current photo said to show victims of this gas attack. But sarin doesn't hack heads or slice throats, except I guess in Syria, Lebanon, and wherever else Wahhabi idiocy festers.)

  4. The Syria Chemical Weapons Pretext: Background
    http://www.globalresearch.ca/the-syria-chemical-weapons-saga-the-staging-of-a-us-nato-sponsored-humanitarian-disaster/5315273
The purpose is indeed to demonize Bashar Al Assad

05.04.2017 According to data of Russian means of objective control of the airspace, yesterday between 11:30 and 12:30 local time, the Syrian air power carried out an airstrike in the area of the eastern outskirts of the settlement of Khan-Shaykhun
on a large ammunition depot of terrorists and gathering of military hardware.
Workshops for production of landmines, filled with poisonous substances, were located on the territory of this warehouse,” Konashenkov said.
The spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry noted that ammunition and chemical weapons have been delivered from this warehouse to militants, operating on the territory of Iraq.
“The fact of their usage by terrorists has been repeatedly proven both by international organizations and by the official authorities of this country,” he stressed.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, ammunition with poisonous substances from the same arsenal was used by militants in Aleppo, when the fact of their usage was spotted by Russian military specialists in late 2016.
“Symptoms of the poisoning of the victims in Khan-Shaykhun on video footage in social networks are exactly the same as the victims in Aleppo had in the autumn of the last year,” Konashenkov pointed out.
He reminded that all materials and samples, proving the fact of usage of chemical weapons by terrorists in Aleppo, were documented and handed over to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW),
but they are still being studied there until now.

Against the background of these reports, France demanded to convene a meeting of the UN Security Council in connection with the “new chemical attack.”
According to media reports, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin that what happened in Idlib jeopardized all efforts, made during the negotiation process in Astana.

Merely hours after the alleged chemical weapons attack in Khan Sheikhun, supposedly by the Syrian government, holes are beginning to emerge from opposition sources,
discrediting the Al-Qaeda affiliated White Helmets claims.

For one, seen in the above picture, the White Helmets are handling the corpses of people without sufficient safety gear, most particularly with the masks mostly used , as well as no gloves. Although this may seem insignificant, understanding the nature of sarin gas that the opposition claim was used, only opens questions.
Within seconds of exposure to sarin, the affects of the gas begins to target the muscle and nervous system. There is an almost immediate release of the bowels and the bladder, and vomiting is induced. When sarin is used in a concentrated area, it has the likelihood of killing thousands of people. Yet, such a dangerous gas, and the White Helmets are treating bodies with little concern to their exposed skin. This has to raise questions.

Abdallah al-Muhaysni is an extremist Saudi cleric who has in the last 18 months become the most influential personality among all the Jihadist factions in Syria.
He was the man behind the formation of Jaish al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) in March 2015,
The alliance can be credited with the Jihadist takeover of Idlib, Jisr al-Shughour, Ariha and al-Mastumah.
    https://yallalabarra.wordpress.com/2015/11/21/how-the-saudis-plan-to-jack-the-syrian-opposition/

I had warned early on that the ceasefire agreements not having anything put in place to stop the supply of weapons and ammo over the border was a strong hint that the semi-retired opposition could join one of the terror groups to continue fighting, which looks like that is exactly what they did.
Idlib became a musical-chairs game of infighting and new alignments, which all led to a major push to take Hama itself.

  7. Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS)

The battle for Maardes was preluded by three consecutive HTS suicide bombings.
On Wednesday morning, HTS launched another suicide attack on a government-held hill overlooking Maardes

April 06, 2017 Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) and its allied militant groups resized the town of Maardes from government forces in the northern countryside of Hama.

Militants launched an attack in the area on April 4, using vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices (VBIEDs) to break government forces defenses in Maardes and fully captured the town by nightfall.

The militants’ success became possible because the Syrian army and other pro-government units had lost momentum while they were preparing an advance on the nearby militant-held town of Souran. Hayat Tahrir al-Sham’s leadership used the delay to launch a large counter-attack.
    http://www.globalresearch.ca/video-situation-escalates-in-western-syria/5583604

March 29, 2017 Heavy clashes continued in northern Hama with the joint militant forces attempting to capture the government stronghold of Hama.
The Ahrar al-Sham militant group announced that it had joined Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) and its allies in their military effort aimed at capturing the Syrian government-controlled city of Hama. Ahrar al-Sham is the most powerful “opposition” group which is involved in the Turkish Euphrates Shield Operation in northern Syria.
This is yet another confirmation that Ankara has once again changed attitude towards the Syrian conflict.
    http://www.veteranstoday.com/2017/03/29/syrian-war-report-march-29-2017-advance-on-jirah-military-airbase/

01 April 2017 A military source in Damascus said that the Ankara-backed militants of the Euphrates Shield Operation in Northern Aleppo are reportedly heading to government frontlines in order to aid their allies fighting the Syrian Army troops.

According to the military source that cited Russian drone footage, many of the militants from the Turkey-led Euphrates Shield Operation have left Northern Aleppo after the closure of the base.
The military source added that with the large influx of militants in Western Aleppo and Northern Lattakia lately, it is very likely that these militants came from Northern Aleppo.

"In the coming weeks, the terrorists are expected to launch several attacks across Syria, so this transfer of militants will benefit them greatly in the manpower department," he said.

  8. 4 April 2017 A considerable step has just been taken by the Trump administration – his principal diplomats have announced that they recognise the right of the Syrian people to democracy.

They admit that as a nation, the Syrian people made the sovereign choice of Bachar el-Assad as their President.
That is the end of all the rhetoric about forced « democratisation » which accompanied the military adventures of the previous administrations.

5 Apr, 2017 “The people who have benefited from this kind of attack are the rebels themselves, because they have gained a major political advantage at a time when they are struggling both strategically and geopolitically,” Charles Shoebridge, a British security analyst and counterterrorism expert, told RT.
Shoebridge said that there is a history of similar incidents occurring in Syria on the eve of some major international events in the past.

“There is a pattern of these incidents taking place at critical moments from a geopolitical perspective,” he said, adding that a massive chemical attack in the Syrian city of Ghouta in 2013 happened just as “the UN inspectors were arriving in Damascus,” while another chemical attack in September 2016 took place on the eve of a “major conference in London, where the Syrian opposition met with its foreign donors.”
    https://www.rt.com/op-edge/383524-syria-idlib-chemical-attack-rebels/

Then there is the issue of timing. The alleged gas attack was launched Tuesday morning, coinciding with the opening in Brussels of a European Union-sponsored “Conference on Supporting the Future of Syria and the Region,” which was to review proposals for “political transition” in Syria as well as Europe’s intervention in the potentially lucrative reconstruction of the ravaged country.
The alleged chemical attack set the stage for renewed demands for regime change and criticism of the Trump administration for suggesting that the ouster of Assad was no longer a priority.

Airwars, a group monitoring US and coalition airstrikes in Syria and Iraq, recently noted that since Trump took office, civilian casualties in both countries had undergone an “unprecedented” increase. Local sources in the Iraqi city of Mosul, currently the target of a US-backed assault to retake control of it from ISIS, reported to Airwars that in the first week of March alone, between 250 and 370 non-combatants were killed by US-led airstrikes.
Over the past three years, Airwars calculates that airstrikes conducted by the US-led coalition have claimed the lives of some 2,590 civilians in Syria.

Since Trump took office, the war initiated by Obama in Syria and Iraq has been drastically intensified. Trump has given a free hand to commanders on the ground to launch air strikes and other attacks, while increasing the number of troops deployed on the ground and expanding their mandates to act closer to the front lines of fighting. The result has been a devastating rise in civilian casualties in both countries, with the death of hundreds of civilians in the Iraqi city of Mosul and hundreds more in air strikes in northern Syria.

Trump has also moved to limit information released by the Pentagon on US military operations in the Middle East.

April 4, 2017 Witnesses Describe The Scene Of A Major Suspected Chemical Weapons Attack In Syria

Hadi al Abdullah : on Tuesday morning
    Mohammad al-Salum : on Monday.

"People looked shocked and they lacked awareness," said Firas al-Jundi, a doctor at the Mara al-Nu'man hospital, about 12 miles from Khan Sheikhoun.
Al-Jundi told BuzzFeed News that following the alleged chemical attack, fighter jets targeted the headquarters of the Syria Civil Defense, also known as the White Helmets, in Khan Sheikoun and the Al Rahma hospital. Images online showed volunteers from the White Helmets assisting the victims, and washing the children with water as they were brought in after the attack.
The director of the White Helmets in Khan Sheikhoun, who requested anonymity for his safety, said the group’s office, where they had been receiving injured residents, was hit at least seven times during the attack. He said the volunteers have been driving the wounded out of the town to nearby hospitals.
“It’s so hard to picture what happened. Mostly it’s a state of loss and chaos. Everyone is feeling lost,”
    said Hadi al Abdullah,
    a Syrian journalist
who went to report from the site of the the attack in Khan Sheikhoun, told BuzzFeed News.

Abdullah said four separate rockets were launched by the aircraft on Tuesday morning. “The fourth one was the chemical one, which caused all the scourge,” he added. Abdullah said fighter jets then bombed the Syria Civil Defense Center as he was interviewing White Helmet volunteers. “Thank god, it was sort of under the ground, so we didn’t get hurt, but the whole center is now out of service.” Abdullah said within the span of an hour and half they were at the center, eight bombing raids took place, targeting the area every time someone tried to leave.

Mohammad al-Salum, a Syrian activist from Khan Sheikhoun, said three bombs struck the area on Monday. "I saw with my own eyes a huge explosion and after the explosion, the dust appeared low," he told BuzzFeed News via WhatsApp.
Salum said more than 400 people were affected by the attack, and women and children were among the dead. As ambulances rushed to the scene, Salum continued, they were targeted by planes flying above.

The Idlib Media Center, which is run by Syrian rebels, reported 150 cases of asphyxiation, and later claimed Russian planes had targeted medical centers near the scene of the first attack. In the hours after news of the attack broke, AFP reported that unidentified planes had bombed one of the hospitals treating the wounded.
Local activists, including the doctors who spoke to BuzzFeed News, said the fighter jets that dropped poison gases belonged to the Syrian government. Both Syria and Russia have repeatedly alleged that rebel-held Idlib province is a "hotbed for terrorism" — and have regularly and ferociously conducted airstrikes in the area.

The training, which is taking place in Jordan and Turkey, involves how to monitor and secure stockpiles and handle weapons sites and materials, according to the sources. Some of the contractors are on the ground in Syria working with the rebels to monitor some of the sites, according to one of the officials.
This confirms that rebel forces had access to chemical weapons and that the U.S. helped familiarize rebel groups with storing and transporting the weapons.
But a removed article from The Daily Mail seems to prove that the U.S. had planned on helping the rebels actually use chemical weapons as well.

    http://english.pravda.ru/opinion/columnists/09-06-2012/121361-syria-0/

The unification of Islamist forces in Homs was first undertaken in spring 2012. In May, Ittihad Suwar Homs (Homs Revolutionary Union) was formed, and some local Islamist groups joined it. Liwa al-Haqq itself was formed in August 11, 2012, and at that time, it included four unions each of which consisted of smaller groups. http://russiancouncil.ru/en/syria-extremism

In September 2012, Liwa al-Islam, Liwa al-Tawhid and Suqor al-Sham paved the way towards forming a major new AOG alliance, the Syrian Islamic Liberation Front (SILF).
While the SILF’s 22 constituent factions all identified themselves as FSA members, the formation of an alternative organization inside Syria that represented roughly 50% of the entire armed opposition further crippled the FSA’s central leadership in Turkey.
..late2012, the SILF, SIF and also then-ISI front group Jabhat al-Nusra had all risen to military prominence.
    https://www.brookings.edu/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/iwr_20161123_free_syrian_army1.pdf
By the end of 2013, the most powerful AOGs that had up until that point aligned themselves overtly with the FSA—namely Jaish al-Islam (in Damascus, Idlib, and Aleppo), Suqor al-Sham (in Idlib) and Liwa al-Tawhid (in Aleppo)—formally withdrew from the SMC and joined a new alliance, the Islamic Front.

Two-and-a-half weeks after being formed, constituent forces of the Islamic Front proceeded to take control of the SMC’s main logistical headquarters, located in the village of Babisqa near the Bab al-Hawa border crossing with Turkey.

  17. Look what Russia now accused of!

Official: Russia knew Syrian chemical attack was coming - AP Top News

The senior official said the U.S. has no proof of Russian involvement in the actual chemical attack in northern Syria. But the official said the presence of the surveillance drone over the hospital couldn't have been a coincidence, and that Russia must have known the chemical weapons attack was coming and that victims were seeking treatment.

The allegation of Russian foreknowledge is grave, even by the standards of the currently dismal U.S.-Russian relations. Although Russia has steadfastly supported Syrian President Bashar Assad's government, and they've coordinated military attacks together, Washington has never previously accused Moscow of complicity in any attack that involved the gassing of innocent civilians, including children.

    1. Total crap. If there was a drone overflight after the "CW victims" and before the bombing, how does that amount to foreknowledge of the alleged CW attack that preceded it? This doesn't even make sense: "Russia must have known the chemical weapons attack was coming and that victims were seeking treatment." Why would they be seeking treatment in advance of an attack?

If there was an overflight before the attack, it sounds to me more like a check if those patients have been cleared out, before what all evidence agrees was a conventional bomb attack (if not an inside job blast lined up with strikes in the area). I'm not aware of any fresh poisoning claims at this time, but maybe.

  18. I have now analyzed the video evidence that forms the alleged proof of alleged attack. I can state with high confidence that no victim of a gas attack received treatment at the White Helmets cave hospital (the one Russia allegedly helped bomb) on April 4th.

Victims were hosed with water outside the compound, but this is not treatment.

Gas victims are seen in Khan Sheikhoun around noon of April 4, 2017.

These is no sign of anyone receiving treatment for gas at the White Helmets hospital after 9 am. The video record from then on is quite complete, so it is possible to rule that out.

There is the horror scene on the White Helmets site early in the morning, where victims are hosed with water. There is no visual indication that these videos were even filmed on April 4th. In fact it would be difficult to clean up the place and remove all trace of them by 9 am.

Water triage - ACLOS: Alleged Chemical Attack Khan Sheikhoun 4 April 2017

I have spent the night looking at my playlist of videos from the White Helmets cave complex. I could not find any obvious continuity errors. On the other hand, I found no proof that any chemical weapons victims were ever treated at the White Helmets hospital.

Ten of the videos form a timeline from about 9 am to late afternoon, that can with high confidence be dated to April 4th.

The White Helmets are being very secretive about the early morning events at the cave complex. The videos of the hosing scene appeared only in the afternoon. Screenshots of the videos appeared online earlier. It is uncertain if this scene happened on April 4th at all. The clips that are available are very heavily edited, 100% massacre porn with little if anything that could help in dating them. They were given to rebel news agencies and mixed with April 4 footage and interviews before publication.

The hosing scene is typical White Helmets. Hysterical action and running around, without any purpose. The victims are likely brought in on white two flatbed pickup trucks. They are dumped on the ground and hosed with water from a fire engine parked inside the cave entrance. Later we see that the fire engine has been moved to near the entrance to the enclosed courtyard. At some point children are packed into ambulances to be taken away, but it is never clear if the victims are coming in or going out.

Later in the day (if this truly is the same day) there is something like an open house at the compound. Everything is very relaxed, except for the excitement caused by the midday bombing. No CW related medical work seems to be happening. Five bodies are shown, there may be ten total at the site. One girl is carried around in different levels of undress.

The first video in this series is by Orient News. Shadows show that it is about one hour later in the day than in the hosing scene. One child with blood on his feet is seen in the treatment room. One body lies covered in sheets on the rightmost table. One small child is carried outside wrapped in a red blanket. There is no sign outside of the hosing scene ever happening.

Some two hours later we see that the treatment room has been totally cleaned up. There are clean sheets on the beds, fresh IV solution bags hang from the stands, waiting for new patients. AFP interviews a medic, who said the sopital had received 200 patients today, 50 of whom were dead. The dead girl lies on the table. In the next video, by Aleppo Media Center she is carried outside. We see the body of one female outside ad the bodies of two adult men in the motorcycle garage. Earlier phots of the garage show four other bodies that have evidently been taken away. All fighting age men, most with beards.

Something happens around 11:30 am. A bomb explodes...

    50,000 Troops To Syria ?
The real conclusion, however, is different: it is now up to Goldman to decide whether to advise Trump to risk starting World War III in Syria by sending some 50,000 “boots on the ground” to start, a number which will only grow in direct proportion with the casualties that emerge as this proxy world war enters its final, most destructive phase.

Two major absents factions are Jabhat al-Nusra (Al-Qaida fi Bilad ash-Sham) and the powerful salafi organisation, Harakat Ahrar al-Sham al-Islamiyyah, part of the Islamic Front but more and more isolated in the umbrella organisation as Liwa al-Tawheed, Jaysh al-Islam, Liwa al-Haq and Suqur al-Sham are more and more working together, uniting their brigades and battalions in some areas in Syria.

2014, 29 September: ISIL released a third video showing journalist John Cantlie. As in previous videos, Cantlie appears alone, wearing an orange prison uniform. The scripted video criticises US president Barack Obama's strategy of using airstrikes to defeat ISIL.[299]

    - In Kaftin, Uzbeks affiliated with Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham- together with their families- are now being settled by Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham in some of the houses, not with the intention of displacing the original inhabitants but rather those renting homes in Kaftin (i.e. mostly Sunni Arabs from the nearby villages). Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham has been pressuring them to leave on the grounds that the original homes of those renting are not at risk of bombing and so they must return to them. So far only a small number have been settled, but Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham wants to bring many such Uzbeks, whereas the original inhabitants want to help those from the nearby villages who are renting.

to have the Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement form a "Northern Army" to gather more than 3,000 fighters for the operation.

The next phase will be to transfer the fighters from Idlib to northern Aleppo through the Bab al-Hawa Border Crossing and the Azaz border crossing. This reportedly began on 13 May.[128]

8 Apr, 2016 The Islamist group Jaysh al-Islam admitted to using chemical weapons against Kurdish militias in Aleppo.
It also uses human shields and publishes execution videos – yet it has a delegation at the UN-backed Syria peace talks in Geneva.
Jaysh al-Islam (Army of Islam), formerly known as Liwa al-Islam (Brigade of Islam),
is a coalition of Salafist Islamist militant groups based in the Douma and Eastern Ghouta neighborhoods of the Syrian capital Damascus.
Jaysh al-Islam is one of the two major militant groups in Syria supported by Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar,
and is part of a larger coalition called the Islamic Front. The coalition seeks to make Syria a country ruled by sharia law, exactly what its rival Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) aims to achieve.

  25. "Although production facilities employ a range of non-standard materials and chemical explosive precursors :

Islamic State (ISIS) militants have been manufacturing weapons on a scale and with sophistication that matches national military forces and they have standardized production across the group’s self-declared state, an arms monitoring group said.

Conflict Armament Research (CAR), which identifies and tracks weapons and ammunition in conflicts, said the militants have a “robust supply chain” of raw materials from Turkey and have standardized production in Iraq and Syria.

"Although production facilities employ a range of non-standard materials and chemical explosive precursors, the degree of organization, quality control, and inventory management indicates a complex, centrally controlled industrial production system," CAR said in a report on Wednesday (December 14).

Following visits last month to six facilities once operated by ISIS in eastern Mosul, the report added the facilities were part of a system of manufacturing weapons in accordance with precise guidelines issued by a central authority.
"Mortar rounds manufactured in one part of IS forces' territory are calibrated to fit mortar tubes produced in facilities located elsewhere," CAR’s report stated.

ISIS has produced tens of thousands of rockets and mortar rounds in the months leading up to the Mosul offensive, according to CAR investigators.

Iraq's elite Counter Terrorism service (CTS) said they had discovered on Sunday (December 11) a center used by ISIS as
a communication and command headquarters in the eastern part of their stronghold city of Mosul.
The center, according to CTS commander General Maan al-Saadi, was used as a workshop to fix communication devices and also a warehouse.

The campaign to capture Mosul started on October 17, with air and ground support from a U.S.-led coalition.
The offensive to take Mosul, the largest city under ISIS control in either Iraq or Syria, is turning into the biggest battle in Iraq's turbulent history since the U.S.-led invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein in 2003.(NRT, Reuters)

John Cantlie, a freelance photojournalist who worked for a slew of U.K. newspapers, spent a week in the hands of Islamic militants in July 2012 before he was taken hostage again three months later.
It's unclear why the Briton was back in Syria following his summer escape.
During his first detainment, his captors tortured him during his captivity and shot him in the arm when he ran for freedom with the help of another Syrian group, he told the Guardian in August 2012.
But in a Thursday video, he was imprisoned again.
In the short clip, he said ISIS fighters took him hostage in Syria in October 2012. It's not clear if the group that kidnapped him earlier that year was also connected to the Islamic State.

The Islamic State (IS) released a video of British captive John Cantlie giving a tour inside cities in Syria’s Aleppo governorate,
The 12-minute video was produced by the IS’ foreign language division, al-Hayat Media Center, and was distributed on Twitter

Cantlie indicated that this is the last video in the series, referring to the “From Inside…” series, in which he gave tours

  27. February 24, 2017 The US has suspended military aid to Syrian rebels in an attempt to persuade them to present a united front in peace talks that started last night.
“The support has been temporarily suspended to set pressure on the groups to unite,” said Muhannad Junaid, spokesman for Jaish al-Nasr, a rebel group the CIA deems as moderate. He said it was not the first time aid had been suspended.
The failure by rebel groups to break the regime’s siege of east Aleppo led to a round of infighting. Some more extreme groups joined the jihadists of the Fateh al-Sham Front, which, when it was known as the Nusra Front, was an affiliate of al-Qa’ida. The jihadists then attacked a string of other rebel groups, many of which joined Ahrar al-Sham, another Islamist militia, for protection. Ahrar al-Sham is not part of the talks and is too extreme to receive US weapons. “The reasons for suspending the support are the fall of Aleppo, the collapse of many Free Syrian Army groups and joining Ahrar al-Sham,” Mr Junaid said.

16.03.2017 Meanwhile, the US State Department declared that Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and all factions which merged into it are now considered by the US as a terrorist group. This statement is similar to the position of the Russian-Syrian-Iranian alliance over this “moderate opposition faction” operating in the Syrian province of Idlib.

Afterward, Tahrir al-Sham declared terminating Liwa al-Aqsa, and promised to watch for any remaining cells in northwestern Syria.[57]
Aug 5th, 2015 Opposition forces in the provinces of Idleb and Hama have declared the formation of a new operations room under the name of Jaish an-Nasr (Army of Victory), according to a statement by the group’s information office.

    http://syrianobserver.com/EN/News/29615/Idleb_Hama_Rebels_Unite_Under_Army_Victory_Operations_Room

On 7 February 2017, Jund al-Aqsa attacked the headquarters of Jaysh al-Nasr near the town
of Murak in northern Hama. Jund al-Aqsa captured more than 250 fighters from Jaysh al-Nasr.[12]
On 14 February, they reportedly killed at least 80 Jaysh al-Nasr prisoners before withdrawing from their positions north of Khan Shaykhun.[13]
Kafr Nuboudah and Kafr Zita villages were the origin of the Jaysh Nasr members whom Liwa al-Aqsa executed according to Moussa al-Omar.[14] The casualties given for Jaysh Nasr were 56 fighters, 3 media reporters, and 11 military commanders, according to Moussa al-Omar.[15]
After Jund al-Aqsa committed slaughter at Khan Shaykhun, only one person lived to tell the tale.[16]

After the infighting with Jund al-Aqsa, Captain Muhannad Junaid of Jaysh al-Nasr stated that "The whole of Idlib will be painted black".[4]
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaysh_al-Nasr

The week of infighting in northwestern Syria exploded after Hay’at Tahrir a-Sham accused Jund al-Aqsa representatives of “coordinating and engaging with the Baghdadi khawarij (Kharijites),” the former said in a statement on Monday, referring to the Islamic State and its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi
The term “Kharijites,” or “those who went outside [Islam],” refers to a seventh-century school of Islam noted for rebelling against Muslim leaders and for its unorthodox practice of takfir, or excommunication. In its statement, HTS leadership drew a direct connection between Jund al-Aqsa and Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s Islamic State, which is similarly criticized for engaging in takfir.
It is not clear whether Jund al-Aqsa is still holding any live prisoners, the Jaish a-Nasr spokesman added.

  29. About the children, is child marked as 2 in the numbering of the picture with the four small boys not the same child seen with the rosy cheeks and with a pakket of chips, also seen on a hospital bed with an older woman holding a child, where he is well alive, also seen on a "dead bed" with flowers, where he seems to have the wound on the right side of his forehead as also one can see on the picture with the four small boys together ? So what happened to him ? What is the chronology ? About all the children with headwounds, can a doctor of other competent people tell us more of what these wounds reveal, can one see how deep they are, if these wounds could have caused the dead of this children ? The question of the children should be a primary concern, so could competent people let knowd their findings ? As we known what Dr Tenari has done before (see report of Dr. De Noli), and he also appeared in the K.S. question, he could eventualy be charged together with the murdereous W.H.

I suspect not - bad form to show a kid alive, then dead w/head wound after coming into rebel care. Should all be off-camera. But it's sure worth a check - they slip up sometimes.

    1. That would be a relevant twist to the story. I hear there were also contradictions between Islam and the "doctor" described, not that I've been following closely. But it's seemed maybe the case is less solid than it seemed. But still, maybe it is. He was disqualified, was formally charged, and in the end got off on a technicality. And maybe it wasn't just honest good luck either, but some terrorist-extracted self-defense impunity.

To the extend I or readers might want to follow closer, where's that claim from?
